The winery just released their first Prosecco style bubbly, to complement their Methode Champenoise sparkling wine. Michael and Peter also discuss Anthony Road’s dessert wine made with Vignoles, affected by the botrytis affectionately known as the “Noble Rot.”

Michael’s guest for the first hour of the wine show is Robin Ross of Arrowhead Spring Vineyards near Lockport, NY. Robin and Duncan Ross just opening a beautiful new timber frame tasting room and production facility in 2019. Their microclimate next to the Niagara Escarpment and Lake Ontario gives their red vinifera grapes extra ripening in the fall, and helps their vines avoid late frosts in the spring.
