As of June 11, 2020 I will no longer be broadcasting on WYSL 1040 AM. New audio content will be available here!

I am no longer broadcasting on WYSL 1040. I walked through this stunning circle of rocks at Sara’s Garden Center yesterday (the owners, Kathy & Stephen Kepler were my original radio sponsors), just after pulling my radio shows off WYSL 1040. I was a weekend fixture on the station for 19 years, but that gave me no leverage to rein in their newly launched Facebook campaign of what I considered divisive, inflammatory, and highly questionable (understatement) posts. I gave them 8 weeks notice, but they were concerned about what I might have said this coming weekend, and they took me up on my offer to leave immediately.

I believe integrity is still important in this highly charged political environment, more crucial than ever. I bought the time from the station for nearly two decades, and I am voting with my dollars for a more hopeful future somewhere else. I believe Black Lives Matter, that the Earth is a precious place that we must conserve, that science cannot be ignored, and that ordinary people can be the change that our country desperately needs right now. Let’s get this done!

Thank you to all the local independent businesses that have sponsored my shows for so many years. I will continue to promote these incredibly hard working and passionate people that are the fabric of our community. Tune in at www.SavorLife.com for this weekend’s shows!

Please wear a mask when near people in public, and practice empathy, love, and forgiveness.

Savor life by sharing with others!
